codes of conduct, and how do they deal with ethical dilemmas? To answer these questions, we conducted a non-prompting online survey of wealth management employees at the Swiss legal entity of a large multinational bank. We used situational judgment questions to estimate the understanding and expected level of adherence to the CoC principles. We show that framing questions under the label « financial security » increases the accuracy of responses, and that employees’ honesty helps guide their decisions towards integrity in ethical dilemmas.
