On the other side of the spectrum, it puts pressure on brand procurement managers to ensure ethical sourcing by balancing the needs of stakeholders. Suppliers in emerging economies face difficulties in meeting business objectives, one of the main reasons for non-compliance, and there are many other factors that compel them not to comply.
