Faire de ton projet entrepreneurial une œuvre

Cette expérimentation pédagogique intitulée « Faire de ton projet entrepreneurial une œuvre d’art » invite les étudiants à exprimer leur projet entrepreneurial sous une forme artistique. L’objectif est de renouer avec l’essence créative de l’entrepreneuriat en les amenant à explorer leur identité de créateur, à raconter leur histoire autrement et à créer une connexion émotionnelle avec leur public. Cette approche permet d’approfondir leur motivation, de renforcer leur communication et de favoriser la cohésion de groupe. Bien qu’inhabituelle, cette démarche révèle toute la dimension humaine et sensible qui relie un entrepreneur à son projet.

AI and Ethics for a Circular Economy

This study investigates whether AI-driven ethical procurement systems enhance firms’ circular supply chain orientation and how governance mechanisms affect supplier cost performance. Using survey data from 393 Indian firms and structural equation modeling, the research confirms that AI-based ethical systems significantly strengthen circular supply chain orientation. Circular orientation promotes both relational and contractual governance, but only relational governance—built on trust and collaboration—improves supplier cost performance. Contractual governance shows no significant effect. The findings extend transaction cost economics by revealing that, in circular supply chains, cost efficiency depends more on flexible, trust-based relationships than on formal contracts. Managerially, the study highlights that AI and relational governance together are critical for achieving ethical, sustainable, and cost-effective procurement in the circular economy.

How Social Robots Mitigate Emotional and Social Loneliness

Loneliness is a widespread concern among older adults, profoundly affecting their well-being. Social robots—designed to engage in social interactions and form emotional connections—are increasingly perceived as social actors in human-robot relationships and offer promising potential to alleviate loneliness. This study examines how older adults interact with social robots to address different forms of loneliness and enhance their subjective well-being. Across a pilot correlational study and two experiments, the results reveal two distinct mechanisms through which social robots improve well-being: attachment for individuals experiencing emotional loneliness and social integration for those facing social loneliness. This research contributes to the literature on loneliness, transformative consumer research, and human–robot interaction.

Women in family business boards: impact and legacy

The benefit of gender diversity on the corporate boards of family firms (FFs) continues to receive growing interest. In this paper, we examine the goals of women who hold a position on the board of directors at FFs. Goal setting has been used to identify what they want to accomplish here. How do they make a difference? This question is answered through the theoretical lens of socio- emotional wealth (SEW) and goal setting. We contribute to the literature supporting gender-diverse board composition, emphasizing the goals associated with women on FF boards, and highlighting their role in family business succession. Drawing on SEW and goal setting theory, this study examines how women’s goals influence succession. Driven by the research question, our data bring together three categories of goals pursued by women in the boardroom.

Le marketing social critique : une discipline nécessaire au bien de l’humain et de la société

Le marketing social, défini par Kotler et Zaltman (1971), vise à influencer les comportements pour le bien de la société, notamment en matière de santé publique et d’environnement. Une approche critique, appelée marketing social critique, a émergé pour analyser l’impact du marketing sur la société et influencer les politiques publiques. Gordon (2011) en a précisé les contours et domaines d’application. Ce champ s’est développé en France grâce à l’Institut de Marketing Social, partenaire d’organisations internationales. Des études ont montré l’influence du marketing sur l’alimentation des enfants, le tabac et l’alcool. Malgré la loi Evin, l’industrie de l’alcool recourt à des stratégies hors-médias, comme le placement de produits dans les films. Cela soulève la question de l’impact de ces pratiques sur les populations vulnérables, renforçant le besoin de recherches en marketing social critique pour appuyer de nouvelles régulations.

From Daughter to Successor: Building Legitimacy in the Family Business

The existing literature on the legitimacy of daughters in the succession process of family businesses tends to separate the analysis between, on the one hand, the role of successor daughters and, on the other hand, the networks that activate and validate their legitimacy. This separation sustains a dualism in the conceptualization of relationships between successor daughters and the various stakeholders. This study addresses this gap by drawing on Strong Structuration Theory and the analysis of five cases of successor daughters. The results highlight that the social legitimacy of successor daughters in family businesses is the result of a continuous interaction between individual agency and social structures, within a logic of duality. It proposes a conceptualization of legitimacy as a dynamic process of social co-construction. The study reveals the interdependence between personal legitimacy and entrepreneurial legitimacy, which mutually reinforce each other through intertwined structuration cycles. This articulation contributes to the progressive co-construction of social legitimacy, emphasizing its evolving and adaptive nature.

We Play Circular : l’aventure d’un entrepreneur engagé pour la planète

Cette étude examine le cas du fondateur du projet We Play Circular au sein de DECATHLON Belgique. Ancrée dans la théorie de la structuration et s’appuyant sur une méthodologie qualitative interprétative, elle analyse l’évolution d’un business model transformatif privilégiant l’usage des équipements à leur possession. Les travaux identifient cinq facteurs déterminants de résilience de l’entrepreneur de cette transformation : une gouvernance fondée sur la confiance dans l’humain, l’exercice d’un leadership incarné, la mobilisation efficace des parties prenantes – constituant les facteurs « compagnons » institutionnels – complétés par deux dimensions plus personnelles : la consonance cognitive entre les coleaders du projet et l’expérience affective positive parallèle vécue par l’entrepreneur.

Biodigitaux : l’opportunité juridique invisible

Cette recherche explore le vide juridique entourant la biodigitalisation – la création d'êtres humains virtuels hyperréalistes. Basée sur vingt entretiens avec des professionnels de l'IA, l'étude révèle que ce vide législatif génère simultanément une incertitude paralysante pour les entreprises innovantes et des opportunités entrepreneuriales majeures pour les professionnels du droit. Les premiers entrepreneurs du droit à développer des services juridiques spécialisés et dématérialisés pourraient obtenir un monopole temporaire sur ce marché émergent de 527 milliards de dollars.
