I work to improve management learning and education by revisiting the conceptual origins of the disciplines that are taught in management schools, such as HRM, OB and Leadership. Equipped with such knowledge, academics, students and practitioners can better assess the consequences of the ideas they are meant to study and apply. The critical evaluation of assumptions brings about the awareness of alternatives; intellectual freedom and meaningful citizenship engagement have no other possible foundation.
